The ultimate test of a compatible relationship is whether you can stand to travel together.
Beach Tour
Beach Tour Becky and Lloyd were getting ready to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary. Lloyd and his father owned a small hardware store in New Martinsville, WV. Lloyd's father was in the Coast Guard just out of high school and stationed in the Gulf of Mexico for two years and would always tell stories about how beautiful Costa Rica was. His father had a heart attack and passed away two years ago, so as a surprise for their wedding anniversary, Becky was planning a trip to Costa Rica. She was an emergency room nurse, and this was a trip they both needed. She had told Lloyd she was going to making it an adventure he would never forget.

On the Horizon
Today was the day. Mom was coming home. Or so she said. Sometimes it’s a day or so late. I hate it when she leaves for her trips. They are always too long and she never tells me about them. She’s always gone. I almost grew up completely without her. Yeah, she stayed home from work till she knew I would be ok without her. Which was when I was seven. Though I still have my other mother, it still feels like she doesn’t want me.

"THEY" WANTED ME TO MET MOTHER TERESA....
It was way back in the early nineties, I think the year was 1995, or maybe a little earlier than I was on a flight to Rome. During the nineties, Rome was the most favored destination for the crew. The reason was many. First, the flight pattern duration for the crew was for ten days. second, the crew would get approximately four clear days in Rome. Two clear days before the shuttle to geneva and two days after the shuttle. This flight meant an earning of 600 dollars for the crew including layover allowances and flight allowances. Such flight was only operated by the seniors and we juniors, then, had the options of going to Thiruvananthapuram or a Dubai QTA, { Quick Turn Around }.

Merlot
It’s 8:15 on a Friday evening as I settle into my couch staring down the bottle of Merlot sitting on the counter. This is going to be the 6th Friday, and possibly counting, spending the night that’s supposed to be filled with hot and heavy thrill, by myself. Depressing much? I know.

The Final Destination
"Ticket please," Stopping at each passenger, the worker punched holes into each card. Voices of joy erupted from the children. Excitement enlightened their eyes as they stared at their punched ticket. Adults conversed of their destinations, reminding their kids to stay seated as the train roared to life.

Going Home For The Weekend
I have been going to college in NYC for the past few months and for the first time in my life have been more than a mile from my family. Instead of choosing to go to an easy college that was closer to home, I chose to go to the hardest college I got into that just so happened to be over 900 miles away.

Mr.X FROM LONDON
I have been flying as a cabin crew with Air India for a long long time... I may say for the last 31 years and sure that's a long time to be in this profession and to have experienced the various passengers from various countries and with innumerable behavioral patterns. Passengers traveling through the globe come with varied cultures, varied cognitive orientation, varied educational background, and with a varying degree of the EGO....

RV Livin
For 3 straight days last weekend, I lived out of a car. To be fair, it wasn’t just a normal car, it was a recreational vehicle or RV for short. It was fun and is something that everyone needs to experience, but I will say that I was very excited to get back home.

DEAL OR NO DEAL
Deal or No Deal is my all time favorite game show. I would guess that most people have heard about it or watched it on television. Megan Markle, who is now the wife of Prince Harry, was even one of the women who held a briefcase! It first started airing on NBC in 2005 before ending original programming in 2009. It did return for a brief time with a holiday special on NBC in 2018 and then on CNBC from 2018 to 2019. Just in case you have never watched the show, Howie Mandel was the host and it consisted of 26 briefcases being held by 26 beautiful models. Each of those briefcases contained a different amount of money ranging from a penny the whole way up to $1,000,000! The contestant had to choose one of those briefcases, which was then brought on stage while the other 25 briefcases along with the models remained on what I would describe as bleachers like you would sit on while attending a football or basketball game. Then the contestant would chose a specified number of briefcases to open one at a time. There was a "Banker" that sat above the stage who was never seen, only heard. He would always make fun of or tease the contestant and then he would offer the contestant a deal to buy the briefcase that they chose. He based the offer on the number of large amounts of money remaining in the briefcases that were not opened at that point in the game. If a contestant made it to the end of the game with only the briefcase they chose and the one still not opened then they would have to decide whether to keep their original briefcase or take the money in the briefcase still unopened.
