Thief In The Night
To the thief in the night that took and replicated what once was mine: Honestly, I feel kind of bad for you. It’s funny, because we hardly know each other. I only know of you through the magazines you’ve written and the broadcasts you have televised in the past — as well as through the public mentions of you from your show business connections there.

Why Didn't Anyone Tell Us
Men, move along. This is not for you. This is for the women. I was forty-five when I began menopause. It is pretty young for that to be going on in a woman’s life, but I had undiagnosed PCOS, my entire life. Thank you to all the gynecologists I had seen my entire life. That in itself should encourage women to keep seeking second opinions, especially when you are not getting correct answers or any at all.

A Historic Declaration

I wanted to title this something different, but worried that my chosen title might cause problems entering the United States in the future so this is the new title. It's the greatest title. No one has ever written a title better than this. (All titles unrelated to content).
Let me be honest. I am finding this difficult. Now, I like a challenge, a stretch, a bit of an obstacle course. “Write about the decline of the British Empire in the form of a narrative poem in which your protagonist is an artichoke” I read, and flex my fingers. “Write a haiku to evoke the sensation of sibilance using only the first half of the alphabet.” “Well”, I think to myself, “this should be fun.” But “write about a system that isn’t working”? A system that isn’t working? Now? In 2026? ONE system? My favourite system that isn’t working? The sexiest system that isn’t working? The one giving me the most angst day to day? The one giving me the most existential dread? I am, as I say, finding this difficult. I will own that I have contemplated writing a thousand words on why the steady “all on” setting on my fairy lights is the EIGHTH of seven options which must be sequentially activated to get there, because that is a system that some fool came up with and it definitely doesn’t work, and now who is paying the price, eh? But how can I write about my fairy lights when…. When…. When….

Why Bother With The Degree?. Honorable Mention in A System That Isn’t Working Challenge.
“So, as you can see from my resume, I’ve just completed my degree in Accounting and Finance. I worked part-time alongside it for three years, kept my position at work throughout, and was even a student ambassador during my third year-”

Staying sane in the insane world.
”It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.” Jiddu Krishnamurti This quote has been one of my favourites since the moment I first laid my eyes on it. To me, it cuts right through the fog of the illusion of normality that permeates our lives. And since I am someone who has never felt (well) adjusted to this society, Krishnamurti’s words gifted me with the realisation that there isn’t anything inherently wrong with me.

Facebook is Dead. Runner-Up in A System That Isn’t Working Challenge.
Or at least it feels like it's dead, doesn’t it? Any system that is not maintained and improved but simply left to its own devices, will enter a stage of entropy (natural, slow decay, degradation, and dilapidation) and eventually die.

Transdimensional Intelligence And The Physics Of Information: A Unified Framework
Modern physics has reached a strange and beautiful point in its evolution, a point where the boundaries between matter, information, and consciousness have begun to blur. The classical world, with its solid objects and predictable laws, has given way to a universe that behaves more like a web of probabilities than a machine. In this landscape, the idea of transdimensional beings no longer belongs solely to mythology or mysticism. Instead, it becomes a legitimate question about the structure of reality itself. This article explores how contemporary physics, when taken seriously and followed to its logical conclusions, creates conceptual space for the existence of higher‑order intelligences without violating any known laws. It does so by examining the role of information in thermodynamics, the observer in quantum mechanics, and the possibility of dimensions beyond the familiar four. The goal is not to prove that such beings exist, but to show that their existence is compatible with the deepest principles of modern science.

Breadcrumbing Behavior Leaves Singles Feeling Uncertain About Relationship Intentions
Breadcrumbing is the dating practice where one party pays little attention to another person to the extent of sending them occasional texts, social media messages, or even occasional compliments, but does not bother to invest in a serious relationship with them. Breadcrumbing will keep the other person emotionally invested unlike ghosting where there is minimal interaction to keep the other person interested. Such an action generates confusion about the intentions of the other individual and may leave singles in the state of a state of emotional limbo. The concept of breadcrumbing is essential in understanding whether a relationship is controlling or unilateral instead of being real to avoid frustration and emotional torture over time.

Orbiting After Breakup Why Ex Partners Stay Watching Social Media
Orbiting is a contemporary post break up phenomenon where an ex-partner continues to passively exist in your life, in most cases by following along with your social media posts without talking to you. Orbiting, unlike ghosting or active contact, does not demand the visible presence of them and does not entail confrontation and responsibility. This may cause an enduring emotional psychological disorientation to the individual being orbited because even minor involvement provokes attachment or interest. The interpretation of orbiting as a digital convenience is a way of how to make the behavior a context that the singles can relate to, and that the actions of the ex are aimed at satisfying their own emotional needs, not at your value.

I Am That I Am: The Release of Spiritual Ego
Many people on their spiritual path eventually reach a point where they begin to see how much of their identity has been shaped by self-assigned adjectives. They describe themselves as strong, broken, awakened, gifted, wounded, or chosen. These words feel harmless, yet each one becomes a small claim about the self. Over time, these claims form a quiet spiritual ego that hides beneath sincerity and good intentions.

Understanding Ghosting Psychology And How Singles Can Handle It Better
Ghosting refers to the abrupt end of communication with someone without a reason and they leave the other party puzzled and hurt. It may be psychologically brought about by avoidance, fear of confrontation or emotional immaturity. Dating as a single in the age of social networking and cyber dating, ghosting is an experience that has become second nature. The online world provides fast connectivity, but it also gives an individual an easy way out. It is important to know that ghosting usually has more to do with the problems the ghoster is facing than with the value of the recipient to be able to cope with the emotional consequences.

The Island Where Childhood Is Shadowed by Despair
In the heart of the Pacific Ocean lies Nauru, one of the world’s smallest and most isolated island nations. Known once for its phosphate wealth, the country now faces a deeply troubling humanitarian reality—one that has captured global attention for all the wrong reasons. Reports of children attempting self-harm and suicide have raised urgent concerns about the mental health crisis unfolding on this remote island.

Gen Z Challenging Traditional Dating Norms With Creative Relationship Styles
The definition of romantic relationships is being redefined by the active population of Gen Z who are moving out of the strict boxes that ruled the dating culture. Conventional standards like exclusive tags, line charts and predetermined positions are being challenged. Rather, youths are experimenting with relationships styles that are more individual and emotional. This incorporates the aspect of fluid dynamics in which couples establish their relationship according to their own terms and not by following the societal scripts. It is turning into a personal satisfaction, understanding of each other and emotional compatibility and relationships are now able to take a shape that is more in line with the contemporary values and different personal backgrounds.
