love
All you need is Love, and Love is all you need.
The Different Tie
Working in retail is hard. Long hours and being underpaid is just the start. I make it through every day with the smell of black coffee and men’s deodorant. I've kept it under control for six months now, as it is heightening at a point where I feel as if he is letting me in his brass gates of his dysfunctional mind. I hold back. I am into my boss. It wouldn't be so complicated if there wasn't a huge challenge. He is twenty-two years older than me.

A Prom Story
Everyone knows that the pinnacle of the high school experience usually revolves around prom. Apparently, people put so much effort and thought into it in order to make it just like the movies. I don't think that many people realize that the movies are just a very fictional version of reality. Prom isn't this big party where everyone drinks and has fun dancing the night away. However, it is a giant overrated dance where people spend way too much money, more than they should. Some people, like me, never would have thought about even going to prom. But I did. Twice.

She Is the Sun, I Am the Moon
Do you like roller coasters? They are exhilarating, yet frightening. With all the tight turns, steep slopes, twists, and loops, it can be overwhelming. Being a girl like this, is like riding the fastest, fiercest roller coaster. A roller coaster of emotions, pretending, and sometimes not feeling good enough.

Letter to the Hurt and Confused
To whom it may concern, You know what the right thing to do is. You know the hard road is the best road, you just don't want to feel the pain, but trust me. Please trust me. I waited so long to fix my life, you were hurt yes, but no it doesn't mean you should stop finding love. You just need to realize what's the best. What's going to the ultimate best. Is it equal? Is the work in the relationship equal? Do you feel that true love? Because let me tell you, saying “I love you” isn't enough to fuel a relationship. Saying “I love you” will not keep the relationship strong.

I'm Her Protector and She’s My Angel
So, I know everything seems like it’s falling apart around me, and the sun is nowhere cuz the rain storm is all over me, yet I got a promise to keep. I know I'm the biggest underdog in this story, but I refuse to not keep my promise. When things ended down there I could have risked it and stayed down there but I had a promise to keep and I had some unfinished business to settle. I could have stayed in my corner, but I had a promise to keep and I refuse to break the one that means the most to me.

What Is Love?
What is love? Love is complex. The term "love" is so loose you can't possibly know the meaning of it from any single definition. The second definition of love can't even describe itself without using the word love. The first goes a bit further by using the term "affection", but even the definition of that is, "a gentle feeling of fondness or liking". Love can't be described, it can only be felt, and I will try to help you feel it with my most recent encounter with love. First I will start from the beginning.

High School Sweetheart
Most people dream about having a high school sweetheart and one day marrying them. As an adolescent, I never thought I was pretty or popular enough to achieve this goal until my sophomore year of high school when I met Tim. He wasn't a jock or anything but compared to me he was very popular. We shared a mutual friend and one day I confided in her that I was crushing on Tim. She ran and told him and he laughed and replied that he likes girls with a little meat on their bones. I wasn't too shocked, it has been what I have heard from everyone all my life. I took with a grain of salt and pushed Tim out of my mind.

What Exactly Is Love?
So lately I've found that so many teens today say that they're "in love" and I wonder to myself, how does someone so young know what love is? I know that there are people out there that say that love is something like the warm embrace of someone that shares your life with you but what happens when that dies? My grandma told me that in your life there will be three loves:

Dear K,
Sadly, I don't have all the answers to your heartbreaks, but I’ll be here for you through everything. If you feel you can no longer stand, I will gladly sit next to you until you stand back up. I will help you through the rough times and the dark nights, I will dry your eyes, I will fight your fight, and I WON’T let go when you think you’re not gonna make it!
