For the Love of Penguins
A great penguin movie featuring real penguins is called Mr. Popper’s Penguins starring Jim Carrey. The movie is based on a children’s book by the same name. It is about a divorced businessman who inherits six penguins and winds up turning his New York City apartment into a winter wonderland for the penguins. This movie used real Gentoo Penguins and was filmed on a refrigerated soundstage. Gentoo penguins have a wide white stripe stretching like a bonnet across the top of their heads. When they reach adulthood these penguins stand at a height of 51 to 90 cm (20 to 36 in) which makes them the largest penguins outside of the two giant species: The Emperor Penguin and the King Penguin. One of the reasons I especially want to see this film is because one of my all-time favorite actresses is in the cast, Angela Lansbury, in the role of Mrs. Van Gundy. I also enjoy the antics of Jim Carrey who was super in the film The Mask.

20 Razzie Picks Worth Watching
Hello, and welcome back to Silver Linings where the unfairly maligned is always welcome. I am not a film snob. Even though I do take a look at critics' opinions about a movie, I don't take it as gospel. The same thing applies when it comes to the award contenders. I can think of plenty of Oscar-winning movies that I can't stand. On the flip side, there are the Golden Raspberry Awards. The Razzies, which are given the night before the Academy Awards every year, to "honor" the worst movies of the year. It's often tasteless, prone to going after easy targets, and a laugh riot.

Top 10 Most Successful 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Queens
RuPaul's Drag Race has introduced audiences to 126 queens from its start in 2009. With 10 main seasons and three All Stars seasons (with a fourth around the corner) and the show reaching gaining more popularity each year, especially with its new home on VH1, it is no surprise that the queens who compete on the show reach extreme popularity as well.

The End of the Netflix/Marvel Partnership?
With the Marvel by Netflix era seemingly coming to an end with the plug having been pulled on season three of Luke Cage, hot on the heels of the cancellation of Iron Fist. Disney have also finally announced their own streaming service making it feel like a curtain call for the Netflix Marvel collaboration. Daredevil launched its third season this past Friday and appears to be bringing to an end to its show long arc of Murdoch versus Fisk, marking potentially another nail in the coffin. But what new Marvel shows could we expect from the new Disney Play service? Or to put it more aptly what would I like to see fill those vacant slots.
