Like the previous times before , I added the information to my notes . This was definite information . I climbed and jumped to John , after waiting awhile without any action going on . He confirmed to me that they went past the center of the forest and directly towards Sapphire Cave . I made it quick as to not talk too much . I told him that I would analyze everything and then we’ll all talk about it when we wake up Bulls Eye . I went back to my position . I added the conversation me and John had to the notes . We can give Bulls Eye another hour while I gather my thoughts with these notes .

It wasn’t an emergency alert . That means that he doesn’t believe that we were spotted , and that the little people aren’t creeping around our tree or general area . That also must mean that Bulls Eye only spotted them and nothing more . I planned to keep track of everything that we saw using my notepad . ( They use pen and paper just like in our world ) I gave him the signal that I noted what he said and to continue watching . That also alerted me , to make sure I was doing my part while I was watching as well . Since John was sleeping , it was mandatory that we covered his direction as well .

I took into careful consideration what both of my partners said . Then I replied to the both of them . “ I want to go right through the forest . An unnecessary detour now will only have us traveling through the night . I would say tonight that we find a big tree to camp in at the edge of this forest . If we go another way , we’ll lose time anyways . I say we play it patient and quiet in the tree . We can keep watch to see if anything is going on in the first place , while hiding and staying low-key . Even now let's scout the edge area and make it safe right after we talk . I'd also say we can even use some of those Sweet tree’s sap ( Similar to honey trees of our world ) . We can use the stickiness from the sap to stick leaves all over our bodies . Our very own make - shift camouflage . “

The investigation
Word spread that the investigators were arriving and immediately the main street, the square, the church and Master Scoldig’s shop swarmed with people coming and going, gathering, lingering on the doors, as if to say one more thing, as if waiting for further information. Luckily the map never got wet. I had it in one of my delivery containers. As I explained before, it is waterproof. I placed the map in one of them because it was the safest place to be in case of danger. I walked and guided with the map as my friends kept watch. After what we'd been through, our group was on guard. Bulls Eye trailed from the back with his bow, piercing the trees and Skys with a sinister intent from his sharp eyes. John led the way as I guided him with the map. He would also shower the landscape and sky with ill intent. I chuckled and thought to myself. I'm starting to love this new team of mine.
