Secret Letter . Content Warning.
By now we're all well aware of what happened to me/us between 2020 and 2023. Today is Tuesday March 24, 2026, as I'm writing this; unknown if and when this should be published regarding Vocal's rules and regulations on each post. In Dissociative disorders and trauma-based responses are a good place to be. Timeline wise, but for clarification, some of the stuff I have brought up in past entries do deserve a trigger warning, and I am learning as a writer to disclose some of that shock value.

I Studied Biology. Nigeria Made Me a Writer.
I spent years studying Biology, learning about cells, organisms, and ecosystems, convinced that science was my path. I was diligent, I showed up, and I did the work. The most obvious destination for someone with my degree was teaching, and I do not say that with any bitterness. I genuinely love teaching. I have taught, and I enjoyed it more than I expected.

There's a moment in every manipulative relationship that doesn't look like abuse. It looks like a Wednesday. You're loading the dishwasher, replaying a conversation from an hour ago, and you realize you can't remember what you were originally upset about. Not because it wasn't important. Because somewhere between the first sentence and the fourth, the whole conversation got rerouted, and now you're the one apologizing.
