Holding On To Hope
I sit here tonight, in this very moment starting to write down all the things that need to be said or that I feel that I need to say. I'll start off with the most obvious, I have loved you since the very first day that I meet you in May of 2008. We have been through so much good and bad, and its taken us so long to get to where we are now. It's taken us 11 years to be able to speak to each other about things, and not yell. Do we still fight oh yes we do, but everyone argues or has a disagreement. We have an amazing son, who seems to be more and more like you with each passing day, and not just with his appearance.

Shift Your Weight
The once chunky kid who shopped in the husky section at clothing department stores lost a lot of weight between his sophomore and junior years in high school. Yes, that kid was me. I was active in the theatre department at school, sang in the show choir, the whole nine. After the weight loss, I delved deeper into what it means to be a physical actor. The previous year, I was a munchkin in The Wiz. I was no stranger to running around on stage. The habit carried in almost every role I took on thereafter. Not only was I growing in confidence as an actor but as a mover, a dancer.

Flight of Shame
My husband and I were at the airport waiting for our flight to take us home. We had just spent three days with the most picturesque landscapes; God's broad strokes of color were bountiful. The vacation had rejuvenated, relaxed, and refreshed us. We were ready to go home.

We're Parking Where?
Being chosen as an Air Hostess (which is what we were called in that less PC era) was such a thrill for me. Not for the glamour and not for any of the more obvious reasons, but because someone actually chose me, Linda, a small town, country girl.

A Special Kind of Mom Guilt
I think it is safe to say that most moms are extremely excited to bring their little on into the world. The idea of bringing a new life into the world can be daunting, especially as a first time mom. Therefore, you do everything you can to be prepared as the big day approaches. You build a birth plan, organize the nursery, and assemble all the seemingly millions of pieces of furniture that your little one requires.

My Confession is That I'm Afraid of Relationships
I wish my confession was one of the funny or cute ones like I burped in my boyfriend’s face or I fell on a date. Although the latter has happened to me (right as my then-boyfriend was about to kiss me), I’m going to share something that leaves me feeling vulnerable and embarrassed.

Open/Closed
A few months ago, my husband and I decided to open up our marriage. We have been together for over 11 years, married for 7. In theory, it's a great idea. Who wouldn't want to have some no-strings-attached fun with someone and then come home to your husband? Isn't that the dream most guys have? I thought so, too.

First Date Epic Fail
This is the best romantic fail I have ever had! Oh my lord how can I put this in words well here it goes... I'd say around 2012ish I had agreed to a blind date. Her name was Chelsea and she was a TA ( Teacher's Assistant) do they still have these? Let me know on that lol, chelsea o we start our brief courtship texting, yes texting the totally modern way of talking lol. But to be fair at the time I was super busy I couldn't talk but my job i could text. We agree after a few days of talking to meet in person oh my god did she have a super suprise for me

The Night I Will Remember Years Later
I was 17 years old out with a few friends and a potential new boyfriend. This guy at first, I had no intention of dating because he had gone out with a few of my girlfriends and one of them was still interested in him and asked me to ask him if there was any chance for them. There was not, and if there had been I was a complication to that happening.
