Top Two Hit Wonders
Most people can name a one hit wonder band. There are tons of them, all of them once considered to be "the next big thing to hit music" only to be unable to top the stuff that launched them to stardom. They are both cautionary tales of hubris and makers of much-loved songs.

Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding used to be one of my two “current” artists. (For those who don’t know, I generally only get really into two bands or artists at once. It used to be Ellie Goulding and Rise Against in my mid teenage years.) That’s because Ellie used to be a good artist. Why You Need to Listen to GL
Growing up, 80s music was played religiously at home. Admittedly, I didn't enjoy it too much during my younger years. The reason that the venue closed was that it wasn't making enough money to pay staff and all its bills.

It's hard not to find a music aficionado who really, truly savors the kind of great musical talent that the 60s brought about.

If you watched the 2017 Billboard Music awards earlier this year you would have seen that the highlight of the evening was the Social Media award going to the K-Pop group, BTS. But who is BTS? BTS is a 7 member group based out of South Korea, that debuted in 2013 under the company BigHit. BTS stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan (방탄소년단). Before this year the English translation of this name was "Bulletproof Boy Scouts". However, as of this year they released a new translation for their English audiences.
