They Called Her Smelly Nelly
It didn’t bother her she ignored them and carried on

They Called Her Smelly Nelly
They laughed, they mocked, cruel and loud,
Her name a curse, a pointed shroud.
She moved in silence, shoulders tight,
Eyes like fire, ready to fight.
Whispers followed her down the lane,
She felt their scorn, endured the pain.
Yet inside, a storm burned fierce,
No cruel words could her spirit pierce.
Each taunt a spark, each laugh a flame,
She learned young to survive the game.
Through shadowed halls and broken cheers,
She built her strength across the years.
They called her smelly, they called her foul,
She rose above their poisonous howl.
Her soul a fortress, untamed, unbent,
No insult held, no word was spent.
She walked proud, unbowed, alive,
Every step a mark of how to survive.
The laughter faded, she remained,
Victorious, unbroken, unconstrained.
Her scent, her name, they could not claim,
She forged her life beyond their shame.
No shadow of them could dim her glow,
Smelly Nelly, a fire to know.
