treat each moment in life
like a thread
woven into a larger tapestry
it doesn't mean
that every thread is perfect
some are frayed, faded
but together make them beautiful
meaningful and profound
one thread at a time
moment by moment
for one final day
before you breathe your last breath
you will finally get
the birds-eye view
that puts it all in perspective
clarity in fullness
and on that last day
as you weave your final thread
only you get to decide
if you smile
or if you cry
and there is your power
one thread at a time
only you get to choose
how you will weave your life
what patterns will you make
to color your tapestry

Lolly, I love this perspective. We often obsess over the frayed threads, forgetting that the beauty is in the whole tapestry. That 'birds-eye view' at the end is a powerful reminder that we are the ones holding the needle after all. Such a grounding piece. Thank you for this!
