SOOO Frustrated Because of Glitchy Emoji Insertion 😠😠😡

This isn't a poem. This is a 444-word plea for assistance (+ venting).

Okay.

I fully admit I am overreacting.

But I've fought to accomplish something for a solid 90 minutes+ and I'm at my wits end. I wrote a petition to Vocal, but I doubt they will respond for at least 48 hrs. And on this particular issue, I'm skeptical that when they finally do respond, they'll give precise instructions on how to overcome this. I will be happy and chagrined if I'm wrong.

After I publish this non-poem, I am giving up on my plans to write today.

This afternoon, when I pull up a draft and try to add an emoji, I can't. I have tried and tried and tried.

When I add an emoji, the cursor remains in front of the emoji. If I add six emojis in a row, the cursor remains ahead of all six. And then when I hit SAVE....

Boom!

The emoji(s) disappear.

I can't seem to add a damn emoji for the life of me.

And what irks me even more (because I don't understand why this happens), I CAN put emojis in the Title and Subtitle. (As witnessed both my title here and in my cover pic.)

It's only in the draft itself that emojis vanish.

Let me show you.

You see where that cursor is? I typed all four of those emojis and the cursor never moved to the end.

When I SAVE-- gone.

There isn't even a puff of smoke emitted from my computer screen.

ARE THERE ISSUES WITH VOCAL TODAY OR IS THIS JUST ME?

I have rebooted my computer repeatedly. I have updated my browser repeatedly. I even called Microsoft for help. I can add emojis on FB and in my email using this same PC.

Everything seems to lead back to Vocal.

If I'm wrong, oh please, please correct me!

I'm clueless why I can no longer insert emojis.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's a stupid small thing, I know, but frankly, I was already frustrated to begin with today and a mystery like this makes my blood churn.

I don't understand!!!

I'd be very grateful if someone could rescue me from my own incomprehesion!

Hey Vocal!!!

.....how about adding this to your "support." Something like, "Common issues with emojis" or "How to add emojis to drafts" or "Why simple things aren't necessarily simple when typing anything but letters")? Because as it stands right now, putting the word 'emoji' in to the search box results in....

Argh.
