Moon In Your Eyes

Verse 1
I saw the moon burning cold in your eyes,
Like a graveyard curled in the curve of its light.
Branches like fingers reached out of the dark,
Calling my name with a long‑forgotten mark.
Pre‑Chorus
And the wind whispered secrets you never told,
Carried by shadows that never grow old.
Chorus
In the pupil of your night, I walk alone,
Past the stones where the silent stories moan.
There’s a doll in the center with a porcelain stare,
And she waits for my soul like she’s always been there.
In the pupil of your night
Verse 2
A crow on a headstone lifted its wings,
As if it knew every sorrow I bring.
Your gaze was a doorway I shouldn’t have crossed,
But the path pulled me in like a lover I lost.
Pre‑Chorus
And the moon kept rising inside your gaze,
Lighting the ruins of forgotten days.
Chorus
In the pupil of your night, I walk alone,
Past the stones where the silent stories moan.
There’s a doll in the center with a porcelain stare,
And she waits for my soul like she’s always been there.
In the pupil of your night
Bridge
Her dress is stitched with the threads of the dead,
Her smile is a promise I’ve always misread.
She lifts her hand slowly, inviting me near—
A gesture of mercy, or a cradle of fear.
Final Chorus
In the pupil of your night, I lose my name,
Drifting through shadows that echo my shame.
And the doll in the center whispers, “Come home,”
As the moon in your eye turns my heart into stone.
In the pupil of your eye
