The modern mind

oft awestruck,

by constructs of old.

-

Stopping and staring

lost for words,

struggling to conceive.

-

How societies time passed

techonogically inferior,

constructed such grandeur.

-

There is a commonality

a consistent thread,

that weaves the disparate.

-

Societies passed

together in spirit,

apart geographic.

-

The simple answer

is time,

no need to rush.

-

Yes, time taken

to express,

creativity, passion and dedication.

-

Not concerned

with the obsession, the drive,

for immediate function.

-

Taking the time

to develop the form

a combination of the two

-

Ensured grandeur

everlasting,

no room for delusions.
