Many Ghostly Spirits

In Bisbee, the most haunted place is the Copper Queen Hotel. One of the most famous spirits is that of Julia Lowell, who was a prostitute in the 1920s and 1930s. She came to a sad ending when she fell in love with one of her clients and was afterward rejected. In room 315, Julia took her own life in the bathtub and now remains seeking clients at the hotel.

On the fourth floor you can encounter a gentleman in a top hot. Those who have seen him appear say he is an older gentleman with long hair and a beard. He also wears a cape, and when he is around, there is the smell of cigar smoke. At times he can be seen as a shadow in the corner of doorways.

Near the hotel is the San Pedro River, where a little boy drowned while his parents were working at the hotel. Now he can be seen in spirit, the sound of giggling can be heard, and childlike footsteps can be heard in the halls. He is perhaps looking for his parents.

A man named Howard was once working as a front desk clerk. Even after death, this spirit keeps an eye on the hotel and makes sure the staff upholds its standards.

Disembodied Voices and Slamming Doors

In Jerome, The Ghost City Inn is a haunted place. The city became a ghost town after its mining boom ended and many of its residents left. Built in 1890 to house miners, the building has seen a lot over the years before becoming a bed and breakfast in 1994.

Once the ghosts started playing around, the Ghost City Inn developed a reputation for being haunted. Visitors have heard disembodied voices and seen doors slam in their faces when no one is around. The Cleopatra Room has the most paranormal activity.

Haunted by Faith Summers and Some Other Spirits

In Prescott, the Hassayampa Inn is haunted mostly by a woman named Faith Summers, who committed suicide here. Perhaps she could not find what she was looking for in the afterlife.

Room 426 belongs to Faith and is known as the Grand Balcony Suite. This is where the unfortunate woman committed suicide. In this room guests feel cold spots, smell a floral scent, and experience weird encounters. Women might get a ghostly foot message, and men experience nightmares.

The ghostly spirit of Faith has been seen floating through hallways in a pink dress, entering rooms, and disappearing. Guest have been surprised by seeing her at their bedsides, crying and holding a bridal bouquet.

Faith enjoys the Peacock Restaurant, where she sees that the lights, radios, and faucets turn off and on and stove burners turn off when she is near.

In the laundry room a young East Asian boy pulls on women’s shirts and seems to be searching for his mother.

Haunting the Peacock Room is a man dressed in Old Western attire and a large brown overcoat. He appeared and then suddenly vanished into walls.

Ghostly Spirits of Caretakers

The Jerome Grand Hotel sits in the Jerome Mountains. It is a haunted place that was once a hospital and asylum. At the end of the 1930s, a caretaker was discovered lying at the bottom of an elevator shaft with a broken neck. However, this did not stop him from doing his job and he continues to tamper with the elevator, making it stop on random floors or refuse to open.

The spirit of another caretaker, who took his own life in the boiler room, continues to go about his business as well.

Victorian Era British Spirits

Lake Havasu City in Lake Havasu, Arizona, is known for having the old London Bridge as its best-known landmark. What no one expected, was that the bridge would be relocated with ghostly spirits. These figures can be seen walking across the bridge at night in Victorian-era clothing. Some have reported a dark spirit chasing them as they cross the bridge, particularly at night.

Haunted by Nevins and Alice

In Prescott, The Palace Restaurant & Saloon was established in 1877. When it was destroyed by fires in 1883 and 1900, the place was rebuilt.

Among the ghostly spirits haunting the saloon in Nevins. At one time, this man owned a mortuary. Unfortunately, after losing his business in a poker game, he killed himself and remains at the saloon.

An unfortunate woman named Alice died under mysterious circumstances in the building. Perhaps seeking justice, she now roams about the place in spirit.

Faceless Nun

Downtown Tucson is home to the beautiful St. Augustine Cathedral dating from 1858. This cathedral has only two rooms. It is also a haunted place wherein the courtyard a faceless nun can be seen.

Clanging Noises and Hostile Ghosts

Vulture Mine in the abandoned town of Vulture City is a reminder of the booming gold rush era in Arizona. The thriving years were from 1862 to 1942 and now this place has become one of the most haunted in the state. Visitors have heard the clang of pots and pans in the old mess hall.

Near this spot is an ancient ironwood tree called The Hanging Tree, upon which 18 men were hung, all accused of stealing gold. Now these have become angry ghosts throwing rocks and shouting violent threats. “Ghost Adventures” visited in 2008, and the crew confirmed the supernatural happenings.
