An elderly man stabs 3 women in broad daylight in Egypt

Yesterday, on El-Fareed Street in the Ezbet El-Nakhl area, life was proceeding as usual in a calm Ramadan atmosphere; passersby were rushing to buy their needs before the Maghrib call to prayer, vendors were calling out their goods, and the sounds of children blended with the aroma of food filling the place. But those peaceful moments suddenly turned into a scene of horror and shock.

Suddenly, the silence was broken by the screams of a woman who cried out for help after being stabbed by one individual in the street, turning the following minutes into a state of chaos and panic among passersby who gathered in an attempt to understand what was happening and save the woman.

Amid this painful scene, a mother and her daughter could not stand idly by in the face of what was happening, so they bravely rushed to try to save the woman and break up the altercation, in an attempt to stop the assault and end the tragedy before it escalated. However, their humane effort did not come without a price, as they were subjected to serious stab wounds during their intervention to save the victim.

Moments before iftar in the crowded street turned into a painful scene, as a state of panic spread among locals , while some passersby rushed to call an ambulance and inform the police in an attempt to save the injured and control the situation.

Meanwhile, others chased the suspect until they managed to overpower him, restrain him, and detain him until the security forces were able to apprehend him.

The security services at the Cairo Security Directorate received a report stating that three people had been injured on one of the streets in the Ezbet El-Nakhl area. Security forces, accompanied by an ambulance, immediately moved to the scene.

Through examination and information gathering, it was found that an individual stabbed a woman and her daughter while they were trying to save another woman in the middle of the street, causing them severe injuries. The suspect was arrested, the injured were transferred to the hospital, the necessary report was filed, and the Public Prosecution was notified to begin investigations.
